Blancpain Fifty Fathoms - Tribute to Fifty Fathoms MIL-SPEC

Blancpain re-interprets the Fifty Fathoms divers watch with a water-tightness indicator. Jean-Jacques Fiechter, a sport diving pioneer and Blancpain's CEO from 1950 to 1980, was behind the Fifty Fathoms project from the start. A few years after its launch in 1953, he introduced a circular water-tightness indicator. If, by chance, liquid were to leak into the watch case, a disk at 6 o’clock would signal the problem by changing its color from white to red. This water-tightness indicator was present on the dial of the Fifty Fathoms model called the MIL-SPEC 1, introduced in 1957-58 to meet the strict requirements of the military. The 2017 Tribute model features a 40mm case, is fitted with Blancpain’s in-house automatic caliber 1151 and limited to 500 examples.

Blancpain reinterpreta il subacqueo Fifty Fathoms con indicatore d'impermeabilità. L'ispiratore del progetto Fifty Fathoms fu Jean-Jacques Fiechter, pioniere dello sport subacqueo e amministratore delegato di Blancpain dal 1950 al 1980. Alcuni anni dopo il lancio (1953), introdusse un indicatore circolare dell'impermeabilità. Qualora fosse penetrata dell'acqua nella cassa, il disco a ore 6 avrebbe segnalato il problema cambiando colore dal bianco al rosso. Questa indicazione appariva sul quadrante del Fifty Fathoms identificato con la sigla MIL-SPEC 1, introdotto nel 1957-58 per soddisfare i requisiti imposti ai prodotti destinati ad uso militare. La cassa del modello Tribute 2017, proposto in serie limitata di 500 esemplari, ospita il movimento automatico 1151 di manifattura.

Breitling - Navitimer Rattrapante

In developing its selfwinding split-seconds chronograph Caliber B03, Breitling worked on the basis of its Manufacture Breitling Caliber 01, a platform that has already enabled the addition of a second timezone and worldtime display. The B03 features a 70-hour power reserve as well as an innovative modular-type architecture. The split-seconds mechanism comprises just 28 parts. Regrouping most of these components in a module fitted between the mainplate and the calendar mechanism simplifies production and assembly, as well as maintenance – since the watchmaker can remove the module as a single block for any servicing or repairs. Like all Breitling movements, the Caliber B03 is chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute). The Navitimer rattrapante si available in a pink gold or stainless steel 45 mm case.

Eberhard - Scafograf GMT

The 43 mm GMT version of the Scafograf 300 features a triple time zone function operated via the position of the bezel and the central GMT hand. The bidirectional rotating bezel is made of steel with a ceramic insert and is available in black or blue depending on the version of the dial, which is proposed in the same colours. Water-resistant to 100 m, Scafograf GMT has a screwed case-back, personalised with the engraving of a stylised hemisphere, and comes with a black or blue integrated rubber strap. The model is also available with a steel bracelet completed by a deployment clasp.

La versione GMT dello Scafograf 300 ha una cassa da 43 mm e una visualizzazione di tre fusi orari gestita attraverso la posizione della lunetta e della lancetta centrale GMT. La ghiera girevole bidirezionale d'acciaio con inserto di ceramica è disponibile in nero o blu secondo la versione del quadrante, che è proposta negli stessi colori.
