Corum - Golden Bridge Rectangle

The new rectangular look of the classic Golden Bridge was created by designer Dino Modolo. 18-karat gold structures representing six Roman numerals surround the visible caliber. Following the design codes of Art Deco, the Golden Bridge Rectangle leads the eye along the path of Caliber CO113’s energy transfer from spring barrel at 6 o’clock to the escapement at 12 o’clock. Unlike its role model from 1980, thanks to modern technology this version is water-resistant to 30 meters/3 atmospheres.

La nuova versione rettangolare del classico Golden Bridge è opera del designer Dino Modolo. Strutture in oro 18 carati che rappresentano sei numeri romani circondano il calibro visibile. Nel rispetto dei codici stilistici dell’Art Déco, il Golden Bridge Rectangle richiama l'attenzione sul Calibro CO113 e sul trasferimento dal bariletto a ore 6 allo scappamento a ore 12. Al contrario del suo antecedente del 1980, questa edizione è dotata di una tecnologia che la rende impermeabile fino a 30 metri/3 atmosfere.

Oris - Chronoris

Almost 50 years on from its introduction, the Oris Chronoris returns, For the 2017 model, the company’s designers, engineers and watchmakers have reinterpreted the early 1970s models. Leading the line is the new Chronoris Date, a 39mm stainless steel piece that takes its cues directly from the 1970s. In place therefore are the streamlined case, the orange hour markers and central seconds hand, and the multi-tone look of the dial’s design. The standout feature is the inner rotating bezel’s timer function. Operated by a separate crown at 4 o’clock, it allows the wearer to time seconds, minutes or hours, depending on which hand the orange triangle is aligned to zero with. The Chronoris Date comes on a brown or black leather strap, or on a black rubber strap, or a grey NATO textile strap. For the stainless steel bracelet option, Oris’s designers returned again to an original design, an articulated bracelet with 15 links across.

A quasi 50 anni dalla sua prima uscita, il Oris Chronoris fa il suo ritorno. Per il modello del 2017, i designer, gli ingegneri e gli artigiani dell’azienda hanno reinterpretato gli esemplari dei primi anni Settanta. Le serie viene inaugurata dal nuovo Chronoris Date, segnatempo interamente in acciaio inossidabile con cassa da 39 mm che prende spunto direttamente dagli anni Settanta. La sua peculiarità è la funzione timer presente nella lunetta interna girevole. Grazie a una seconda corona posta a ore 4, chi indossa l’orologio può regolare secondi, minuti e ore in relazione a quale lancetta sia allineata allo zero posto sotto il triangolo arancione sul quadrante. Il Chronoris Date è proposto con cinturino in pelle marrone o nero, oppure in caucciù nero o in tessuto grigio NATO. Per  produrre la versione con bracciale opzionale in acciaio inossidabile, i designer di Oris hanno attinto ancora al design originale, realizzando un bracciale articolato dotato di 15 maglie combinate.
