New releases – Frederique Constant Vintage Healey

Frederique Constant celebrates the 70^th anniversary of its automotive partner, Austin Healey, with two limited editions. The Vintage Rally Healey Chronograph Automatic has adopted the British racing green colour of the vintage car with the NOJ393 number plate. With a bicompax dial and two racing red hands, this timepiece is produced in two versions: the first, limited to 10 pieces with the 70 figure visible at midday, and the second, with a run of 700 watches, with the “12” in its normal place. The 42 mm steel case houses the FC-397 self-winding movement.

Vintage gadgets - Rolex (1960s-1970s)

A few customized pens made for Rolex in the 1960s and 1970s.

The wording on the black and silver model reminds us that Rolex Bienne – the company that manufactured Rolex movements – was a separate entity from Rolex Geneva, and that until 2004.

The green ballpoint seen at the top of the picture bears the manufacturer’s signature hidden beneath the clip – Caran d’Ache, the famous company based in Geneva like Rolex itself.

Alcune penne personalizzate create per Rolex tra gli Anni 60 e 70.
L’iscrizione sul modello di colore nero e argento ci ricorda che Rolex Bienne – fabbricante dei movimenti per la Casa – era un’entità separata da Rolex Ginevra, e questo fino al 2004.
La penna a sfera verde visibile nella parte superiore delle terza foto dall’alto porta la firma del fabbricante nascosta sotto il fermaglio: Caran d’Ache, la celebre Casa con sede a Ginevra come la stessa Rolex.
