New releases – Unimatic Modello Quattro U4 GMT

Designed by Todd Snyder along with the brand’s co-founders Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato, handmade in Italy, this military-style watch features a 40mm stainless steel case and matching face in custom colors inspired by the dark of night (black) and light of day (cream). Its is mounted on a custom-colored quick-release textured suede strap. The NH34A automatic GMT movement ensures accurate time with power reserve of more than 41h. The timepiece retails for $ 998.

New releases – Trilobe Trente-Deux

The 39.5 mm steel case features three chamfered tiers with asymmetrical lateral fins and a beveled mid-case. It houses the French brand’s first manufacture caliber. Named X-Nihilo, the automatic movement spotlights an isolated, magnified balance wheel. Available in grey or blue, the dial features a matte sunray finish, grained discs for hours and minutes, and a seconds wheel combining azurage with Clous de Paris guilloché.

A recently created website, Time & Pages takes an original and cultured approach to the world of watches. As stated on its homepage, it is “the magazine that combines the precision of time with the art of books,” able to accompany visitors “on a journey through the charm of watches and the books that tell their stories.” It is an ideal setting for those who, like Marco Strazzi, have been writing and publishing historical books on watches for over twenty years, while also running this website and the YouTube channel 10e10.ch. This is why he enthusiastically accepted the proposal for an interview with Time & Pages. How were his books born? What criteria did he use to choose the most iconic watches? New releases – Exaequo Melting Watch Polyhedron

  

Each 55 mm by 35 mm 925 sterling silver case, water resistant to 30 metres, features 62 surfaces and requires over two days of work. The 101 numbered pieces are a tribute to the 101th anniversary of the Surrealist Manifesto. Inside beats the Ronda 751.1 quartz movement indicating hours and minutes. The handmade Italian leather strap is fitted with a silver pin buckle whose shape echoes the “melting”  theme.
