New releases – Ralph Lauren RL888

The brand reintroduces the RL888 collection, originally launched in 2016 in honor of the women's flagship store at 888 Madison Avenue in New York City. This reintroduction of the first round watch created exclusively for women presents two sizes — a 32 mm and a 38 mm, both crafted in polished stainless steel. Each quartz-powered timepiece features the collection's distinctive dial design, characterized by its combination of Arabic and Roman numerals and Breguet-style hands. Prices : $ 1,750 (32 mm), $ 1,850 (38 mm).

New releases – Tutima Glashütte Patria

 

The polished 41-millimeter case of the 25 pieces making up this limited series is crafted from Grade 5 titanium. The dial features a pyramid texture and Arabic-Indian numerals at the 4, 8 and twelve. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the in-house Caliber 617 features a 65-hour power reserve, a three-quarter plate with stripe finish, hand-beveled edges, and ruby bearings set in gold chatons. The open-worked balance cock allows an unobstructed view of the free-sprung oscillating system with a manually bent Breguet overcoil. Price : € 8,900.

The most awaited watch book of the year is definitely on its way! Rolex 1961-2025 will be available at physical and online bookshops at the beginning of March. This link brings you to the dedicated page at amazon, where you can pre-order the book. 

While waiting, take a look at a few pictures and a mini-video clip taken at the Fontana printing house (Lugano, Switzerland), as a 20-meter long offset press turns the PDF file into thousands of matt coated pages. The latter will then be folded and hardbound.

"(...) Most of the book replicates the formula of Rolex 1905-1960. Each chapter on the decades from 1961 to 2000 opens with a chronology of significant events and a table of movements developed during the period. This is followed by a gallery of timepieces, accompanied by photographs, texts illustrating their genesis, and technical data sheets. A wide selection of annotated advertisements allows readers to follow the evolution of the brand from an image perspective. Sta per arrivare Rolex 2021-2025, il libro di orologi più atteso dell'anno! Il volume sarà disponibile dall'inizio di marzo presso le librerie fisiche e gli shop online. Questo link ti porta alla pagina dedicata di Amazon, dove puoi prenotarlo con uno sconto interessante sul prezzo di copertina.  

Mentre aspetti, dai un'occhiata ad alcune foto e a un mini-video registrati presso la tipografia Fontana di Lugano (Svizzera), dove una macchina da stampa offset lunga 20 metri ha trasformato il file PDF in migliaia di fogli di carta patinata opaca. Questi ultimi saranno poi piegati e rilegati in copertine rigide.

Released as a limited edition of 100 pieces in stainless steel and 30 in 3N 18-carat gold, the model celebrates the brand’s 10th anniversary. The new in-house Caliber 10 features a jumping hour complication displaying 24 hours in two discs and complemented by trailing minutes on a peripheral ring. The 40.5 mm traditional round shape and half-hunter case loop back to the form of pocket watches and the 19th-century genesis of today’s Czapek. The guilloché pattern creates the optical illusion of curves being drawn into a deep centre. Prices (before taxes): CHF 42,000 (stainless steel and 18ct white gold guilloché inlay), CHF 64,000 (18ct yellow gold). 

 

New releases – Studio Underd0g x Massena LAB

The Champagne & Caviar limited edition monopusher chronograph features a big-eye sub-dial at 3 o’clock resembling a pot of caviar, and the silhouette of a champagne bottle at the base of che chronograph hand. The 38.5 mm stainless steel case houses the manual-winding Sellita Caliber SW510 M, offering a 63h power reserve. The dial consists of a metallic radial sunray base and a coarse dégradé top. Price: € 1,800 / USD 2,200.

New releases – Unimatic Modello Quattro U4 GMT

Designed by Todd Snyder along with the brand’s co-founders Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato, handmade in Italy, this military-style watch features a 40mm stainless steel case and matching face in custom colors inspired by the dark of night (black) and light of day (cream). Its is mounted on a custom-colored quick-release textured suede strap. The NH34A automatic GMT movement ensures accurate time with power reserve of more than 41h. The timepiece retails for $ 998.

New releases – Trilobe Trente-Deux

The 39.5 mm steel case features three chamfered tiers with asymmetrical lateral fins and a beveled mid-case. It houses the French brand’s first manufacture caliber. Named X-Nihilo, the automatic movement spotlights an isolated, magnified balance wheel. Available in grey or blue, the dial features a matte sunray finish, grained discs for hours and minutes, and a seconds wheel combining azurage with Clous de Paris guilloché.

A recently created website, Time & Pages takes an original and cultured approach to the world of watches. As stated on its homepage, it is “the magazine that combines the precision of time with the art of books,” able to accompany visitors “on a journey through the charm of watches and the books that tell their stories.” It is an ideal setting for those who, like Marco Strazzi, have been writing and publishing historical books on watches for over twenty years, while also running this website and the YouTube channel 10e10.ch. New releases – Exaequo Melting Watch Polyhedron

  

Each 55 mm by 35 mm 925 sterling silver case, water resistant to 30 metres, features 62 surfaces and requires over two days of work. The 101 numbered pieces are a tribute to the 101th anniversary of the Surrealist Manifesto. Inside beats the Ronda 751.1 quartz movement indicating hours and minutes. The handmade Italian leather strap is fitted with a silver pin buckle whose shape echoes the “melting”  theme.
